Who handles your data

wang yuhao, an individual based in China, operates SpeakGrove at speakgrove.com and is responsible for personal data handled by this site. SpeakGrove is an independent third-party voice workspace powered by HeyGen voice services and is not affiliated with or endorsed by HeyGen. Your account, plan, and support here are separate from HeyGen. HeyGen and Google have their own policies for their services. See our independent service explanation, the official HeyGen website, and official voice documentation.

Contact support@speakgrove.com for privacy requests. This service is for adults aged 18 or older. An adult declaration does not verify identity or age. Content involving minors is prohibited under our Acceptable Use Policy.

Scripts and saved drafts

The script editor saves your draft in this browser's local storage for this site's domain, so it can be restored on the same site, browser, and device. Changing domains does not automatically transfer those browser drafts; keep a separate copy of important scripts before switching. Typing and editing a draft does not send it to HeyGen.

New audio generation is closed during early access. When generation opens and you submit a request, your script and selected voice will be sent to our application server and then to HeyGen, which processes requests under its Privacy Policy.

The Clone and Design tabs are available, but clone creation and new Voice Design matching are not open yet. You can select a recording locally in the Clone tab. Selecting it does not upload the file, and the site does not record your microphone. The selected file is held in the current page and is not saved in browser storage. You can draft a Voice Design description, which is saved locally in your browser; editing it does not submit it to HeyGen. Data handling for recording uploads and matching requests will be described before those actions open.

Audio

The 100+ stock voice previews and six full project examples are existing audio files. Playing them does not submit your draft for generation. The six project clips are served by this site. Additional stock previews load directly from HeyGen audio hosts, including files2.heygen.ai, static.heygen.ai, resource2.heygen.ai, and resource.heygen.ai. Loading these previews sends normal media requests, including your IP address and browser information, to those hosts. New generated clips and their download controls will become available when audio generation opens.

The live service has cloud storage for private audio History. Once generation opens, signed-in requests will save the submitted script, selected voice, audio duration, and audio file to the owning account. History will provide playback, download, and deletion for completed clips. Deletion removes the stored audio and script while retaining the request identity, timestamps, and used allowance; an unfinished request must be resolved first. HeyGen may retain inputs or outputs under its policies, and deletion here does not remove its records.

Accounts and payments

Google sign-in is available on the live website. When you sign in, we process the name, email address, profile image when provided by Google, and authentication and session information needed to create and maintain your account. Google handles sign-in under its Privacy Policy. We use Cloudflare to host the website and store account data and sessions. Private History and audio files require the owning account once generation opens.

When policy confirmation is provided for enabled operations, the account record will include the policy version, adult declaration, and confirmation time. This records a declaration; it does not establish verified age or recording rights.

Pro checkout is not currently available. Payment processing and its data handling will be documented before accepting payments. Do not enter payment information into an unavailable or placeholder flow.

Browser settings and clipboard

Your saved draft can include its selected voice. Mode-specific drafts, named drafts, and your Voice Design description also stay in this browser. The site stores its display setting locally. A language cookie may remember a language setting. See our Cookie Policy for browser storage details.

If you choose "Copy script", the workspace asks to write the editor's text to your device's clipboard. If copying is unavailable, it selects the text for manual copying.

The Help & contact page can prepare a troubleshooting note containing your selected feature and voice, the current time, browser information, and connection status. These details are prepared in your browser and copied only when you use the copy button. The tool does not read your saved draft or include scripts, passwords, or API keys. It does not send the note to us or to HeyGen. You can choose to email support@speakgrove.com using your mail app. If you email support, mail providers process the message for delivery; our support inbox is hosted with Gmail and delivery may use Cloudflare Email Routing. There is no message-submission form on the contact page.

Page requests

Opening the site sends ordinary page requests to the website host. These requests include technical information such as the requested page, IP address, and browser information. The script editor does not include your draft in those page requests.

The host may process technical request information to deliver the service and diagnose failures. We do not promise that submitted content is anonymous or that provider-side processing has no retention. Avoid submitting sensitive text you do not want processed by our server and HeyGen.

Access, export, and correction

Sign in with Google and open Profile to use Download my data. This downloads a JSON export of your own account information, including your profile, sign-in providers, policy confirmations, submitted scripts, audio and voice metadata, usage, billing, and review records where held. Audio files are not embedded in the JSON; file records include download links that require sign-in. Download any audio you want to keep separately before requesting account closure. Browser-only drafts are outside this account export.

You can correct your name or avatar in Profile. For other corrections, access requests, help exporting, or account closure and deletion, email support@speakgrove.com from the email associated with your account. Use the subject Privacy request, describe the data or correction needed, and include a relevant request reference if available. You do not need to accept new policies to export your data or request access, correction, or closure.

We verify account ownership before providing account data or making changes. We may ask for reasonable confirmation needed to match the request to your account. An account-data response covers your own account information and any scripts, audio, voice assets, or usage records held here, where applicable. We explain any data we cannot provide and the reason. Information used by Google, HeyGen, or another provider under its own policies is outside this site's account export.

Our response target for privacy requests sent to support is within 30 calendar days of receiving the request. Where applicable law requires a shorter deadline, we follow it. If a lawful extension or additional ownership confirmation is needed, we explain why and provide the expected next date. Sending an email does not automatically complete an export or deletion.

Account closure, deletion, and retention

Complete self-service account deletion is not currently available. Use the privacy-request mailbox above to request account closure and deletion. After verifying the account, we handle deletion of account and session information and the site's associated scripts, stored audio, and voice records that no longer need to be retained. We explain completion, any information retained, the reason for retention, and any further action needed. No request deletes someone else's data.

Limited payment, tax, legal-compliance, or dispute records may need to be retained where required or permitted by applicable law. Those records are not automatically erased with the account. We do not promise unlimited retention or a single retention period for every record; the purpose and applicable requirement determine retention. A clip deletion or account deletion here does not erase records independently held by HeyGen, Google, or a payment provider. You can use their own privacy channels for requests concerning their records.

If you have a subscription once purchasing opens, also request cancellation of future renewal when closing the account. Closure or deletion is not itself a refund request. See the Terms for cancellation, refunds, and statutory rights.

Browser data and your controls

You can remove saved drafts and site settings by clearing this site's browser data. Private browsing or disabled storage may prevent drafts from being retained. Copy any script you want to keep before clearing data.

Browser drafts and Voice Design descriptions are local to your device unless you later submit them through an enabled operation. We cannot retrieve, export, or erase those local copies through a server-side account request. Clear this site's browser data to remove them, or copy important text first. Clearing browser data does not delete a server account, stored audio, provider records, or a subscription.

For a question about our handling of your data or a privacy decision, reply through the same support mailbox. We will explain the decision and review the concern. This does not limit rights to contact an appropriate authority or seek another remedy under applicable law.
